Did you know - Reduced recordkeeping requirements for vehicles?

Businesses (starting in 2009) can choose to maintain a full vehicle logbook for one complete year to establish the business use of a vehicle in a base year.  After one complete year as a base year, a three month simplified logbook can be used to extrapolate business use of the vehicle for the entire year, providing the usage is within 10% of the results of the base year? Hours of Work - Ontario Ministry of Labour

Employers need agreements for the employees to work more than 8 hours per day or 48 hours per week. Any instance of exceeding this requires a written agreement between the employer and the employee.  Failure to have this agreement in place can result in fines of more than $200 per day per employee.  In no case can an employee work more than 12 hours per day unless special authorization is provided from Ontario Ministry of Labour.  For full information see hours of work at:
